Marilyn’s floral paintings are a natural transition from a successful career in commercial and residential floral design after training under renowned designer Bill Hixon. Her “hands on” career now allows her to paint with the depth and detail that she expresses in her work. Marilyn chose oil on canvas as her medium because it allows her the freedom to draw out the hidden colors of nature; color that giver her work vibrancy yet subtly.  "Only oil gives me that freedom”.
